BIO LOUISE WALSH BA (Hons) Cert ED City & Guilds BABTAC - Grange Academy

Louise has been working in the industry since 1981 as a hairdresser, hairstylist and make up artist with experience in teaching, make up artistry, hairdressing, beauty, holistics, fashion, editorial and weddings.

After teaching at a local college of FE Louise decided to set up her own training company - The Make Up Specialists, specialising in cosmetic and threading. Whilst teaching at the FE College Louise also studied for 2 years for her Certificate in Education, through Anglia Polytechnic University. The Make Up Specialists has now been renamed and is known as GRANGE ACADEMY.

In addition to the above qualifications Louise holds the following: City and Guilds Hairdressing, BABTAC Beauty Therapy & Electrolysis plus qualifications in Semi Permanent Make Up, Body Art, MCA, Airbrush Make Up, Make Up Artistry, Advanced Hair Styling, Threading, Advanced Waxing, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage & Spray Tanning with extensive experience at all levels.

As demand grew this lead to her introducing her threading courses in Ireland and training others to offer this sought after course.

Grange Academy is also accredited by The Beauty Guild UK and Ireland, who can offer insurance upon successful completion of courses. Louise ensures her team are kept up-to-date with regular CPD and work regularly in their chosen specialism.

Recently she was asked to join a provider in London as their in-house Trainer for Semi Permanent Make Up, offering courses to UK and overseas based students.
